Fairfax County is threatening to break their promise to hard-working employees like you. The proposed Fairfax County budget does NOT fully fund our employee pay plan. While it does fund performance and longevity raises, it only funds a 1% MRA instead of the promised 2.51% MRA.
If we don't change the budget, the average employee will lose $860 this year, and will lose $8,600 over 10 years.
